So, Saturday buddy and I went over to mom's house for the afternoon. Hung out with her, and her doggies. Left him there to hang with the puppies while we got some dinner. Took him home after dinner, and took mom over to Ft. Scollins for the Welcome back party. The shots always do me in. Apparently, this party was no exception.



Sunday was an afternoon at ani's. We got to hang out with the family in the back yard. The new yard is very very cool.


Barb's dog came over later in the evening, and we got to introduce them. Amber's just about a year old, so that was a good time. Dogs are hilarious when they're playing (I think this weekend I'll take buddy to one of the dog parks around. It'll be good for both of us to get out of the house more).

ani and I went to see the fratellis last night, at Saint Andrew's in Detroit. The opening band blew the other two out of the water. electric touch knew that they had to work their asses off to win over the crowd, and they did.


The crappy phone pictures are the best I've got. It was a damn good time, though.


The second band, The Airborne Toxic Event was equally as awesome. The bass player played his bass with a bow on occasion, and the violin was amazing. The girl who played it was rocking-the-fuck-out, at moment of the show.



The fratellis played the favorites, and some new stuff, and it was all good. They were a bit lack-luster, though. They seemed bored, and not really as into it as the crowd was.


This morning, I got up for breakfast with wendigovegan, (who messaged reminding me not to forget about our breakfast plans, a la kreie, which made me laugh, since she's the only one I ever forget about), went back home for a nap, got up, went for a walk with the pooch, uploaded my pictures from this weekend, and came to work. Not a bad weekend. and a damn good monday.
